Does anyone know who removed the posters from the recreation centre, and why?

By 5pm on the night of the public meeting (12/7/2004) the notice describing the time and place for that meeting had dis-appeared. I hope nobody missed the meeting because of that.

Also the Save Our Squash poster from the squash court doors vanished that evening, as did the poster showing the newspaper photo from the front doors.

Maybe I am paranoid, but it looks as though someone is trying to stop the public being informed of the impending closure?
